Yet another strange dream

I had another strange dream last night.
I was standing at one end of a hallway. At the other end was a door, with an eye carved into the wood. I looked around for another exit, but the wall behind me had been sealed with bricks, and there were no other windows or doors in the hallway. I was being forced to enter the door.
Without any other choice, I walked over to the door and slowly pushed it open. On the other side was a small, dark room. There were cobwebs in the corners and weeds growing through the floor. There was a single barred window on the wall.
At the back of the room was a figure who had been chained up. Their hair was long and dirty, and their clothes had been torn in multiple areas, reducing the clothes to rags.
As I entered the room, the figure lifted their head; their eyes were black. In a hoarse voice, the figure said only two words, "Help me," before long, skeletal arms reached out of the wall behind the figure, and dragged them through it. The only evidence that they had ever been there at all was the pile of chains left behind, alongside a diary.
I picked up the diary and flicked through the pages. There were very few words, and the diary had been completely filled up with drawings. The drawings depicted a variety of different things: eyes, various monsters, shadow people, and strange circular scribbles. Whoever the figure had been, they had clearly gone mad in this room.
